Doctor of Clinical Audiology
The Division of Hearing, 演讲, and Language Sciences offer a world-class, 连续, four-year (11 semesters), 全职, residential Clinical Doctoral 程序 in Audiology. The three components of the doctorate coursework, clinical practicum, and 研究 training are integrated into a sequential 程序. Upon completion of the 程序, candidates are prepared to provide comprehensive clinical services in the prevention, 识别, 评估, and treatment of individuals with disorders of hearing, 平衡, and other neural systems. They will also be able to function as administrators and advocates for the discipline.

Clinical doctorate in audiology degree applicants who are interested in academic careers and who demonstrate potential for doctoral study may request consideration for admission to the 集成非盟.D./Ph.D. 程序. This 程序 is for students who are certain they wish to pursue a Ph.D. 并收到Au.D. degree along the way. Upon completion of the 程序, the student will have completed the clinical doctorate of audiology as well as a doctorate of philosophy in hearing science. This allows for maximum efficiency and permits the student to pursue 研究 and clinical training simultaneously, rather than sequentially. The purpose of this 程序 is to nurture and guide students with excellent potential while integrating clinical doctorate and doctoral coursework, 研究, and clinical experiences.
